MOONG DAL STICKS

INGREDIENTS
Moong dal – 1 large cup soaked for a few hours
Jeera 1tsp
Saunf 1tsp
Dry red chillies 2 medium
Green chillies -2medium
Ginger – 1inch piece
Coriander leaves – a small handful
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Soda bi carb
1/2 tsp oil

METHOD

Grind all ingredients together to a thick paste.
Beat till fluffy after adding the soda and oil mix and spread (1 inch thick) in oiled thalis to steam for 12 minutes

Remove from steamer and cool
Cut into batons of 1″ x 3″
Flash fry or brush with oil and bake for 10minutes till it gets a crispy brown coat
Serve with green chutney

GREEN CHUTNEY

Large bunch of coriander leaves
3-4 green chillies
Juice of 1medium lemon
1tsp jeera
Salt to taste

Grind using minimal water to a thick chutney.
